On the day, two invitation-only industry round tables will also be taking place, and during this EPA @Home event, we will hear the highlights from the discussion and build further on the findings during two fireside chats.

The Future of Account-to-Account Payments (A2A payments)
A2A payments is nothing new; bank transfer services have existed for many years and traditionally been used by consumers to schedule regular bill payments (i.e. direct debit). When the government extend the functionality of the Consumer Data Right by introducing consumer-directed third-party action initiation, which enables payment initiation in open banking and real-time payments, A2A has a genuine opportunity to become a credible rival to the card payment rail for everyday transactions too.

The PayTo Technology enabled by NPP is going live, and we are looking at how different players are making use of this technology. We will discuss the value they create for the value chain of payments.
